An Elko Daily Free Press Advertising Sales Consultant's primary focus is on selling print and digital marketing solutions to existing advertisers, while generating leads and new prospects. You will be required to achieve sales goals through creative sales strategies; performing extensive client discovery interviews, meeting with decision makers, listening and documenting clients' marketing needs, concerns and recommending appropriate solutions.
Free Press Advertising Sales Consultants must understand basic marketing principles, have a desire to continually learn about new products an solutions within our industry.

## Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience.
Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Cold-calling and lead generation capabilities.
Effective negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to provide post-sale support and problem solving as needed.
Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
