The world s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a background in security. As an Area Supervisor 4, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of client facilities assigned to you. You will provide support to the area office and site supervisors, and ensure contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to the area as well as ensuring appropriate staffing. The Area Supervisor 4 is the primary point-of-contact for all matters relating to each area facility and, as such, must coordinate closely with all operational, management, and administrative sections of the area office.

Provide supervision to other Area Supervisors, Site Supervisors, and security officers with no on-site supervision on a 24-hour basis.
Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers. May directly supervise security officers.
Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S.
Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to his/her area.
Participate and make recommendations in selection and placement of security personnel to contracts in his/her area. Participate and make recommendations in progressive discipline and conduct performance appraisals of the same.
Perform other operations related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, issue uniforms, coordinate fleet
, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders).
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
While not required, prior law enforcement, corrections, military police, Criminal Justice degree, or retired military is a plus!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
