Must be proficient and versatile in building trades:
electrical, painting/sheetrock, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and general mechanics Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment Troubleshoot, adjust, maintain, and repair all equipment and functions in and around the Casino property, excluding gaming equipment, with proven skills Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property Individual will assist in the performance of regular preventive maintenance procedures of plant and kitchen equipment, interior and exterior cosmetic maintenance and fixture/furniture repairs Individual may be required to assist with landscape maintenance and cleaning tile floors, walls, ceiling tiles, carpet, HVAC grills etc.
Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washer, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners and associated chemicals Individual will recommend needed parts for purchase as well as order parts and arrange services if needed.
Assists other maintenance personnel with their training and assigned duties Operating company vehicle for the purpose of snow removal Will thoroughly understand the function of all life safety systems Skills, Education and Other Requirements Communication skills, both written and oral, that contribute to smooth working relationships with co-workers and understanding of work duties and instructions Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure Ability to work independently or with a team to complete required tasks.
Ability to work safely with power equipment and tools Proficient in life safety systems operation and resetting Must be able to understand and follow SDS sheets Know the location of, how to use, and how to check all safety equipment Must have a valid driver's license Basic computer skills Some technical or commercial training preferred with three (3) years minimum work experience in a Hotel/Casino Must be 21 or older Identification that establishes identity Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States HP123 Recommended Skills Carpentry Communication Furnishing Hvac Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
