9 Quick Apply Full-time 5 days ago Full Job Description MacLean Equipment USA (subsidiarity of MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co Limited MEMCO) is looking for a Junior Account Rep/Sales to build, create and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts, developing and achieving sales targets, as well as identifying new product/business opportunities.
In addition, the Jr Account Rep/Sales is responsible for working closely with internal teams, such as Marketing, Service and Engineering, to increase sales, provide above and beyond service to establish MEMCO as the OEM of choice in the mining industry.
If you are looking to be challenged, valued, and rewarded with a competitive compensation package in a dynamic work environment, this position is for you! Working with the Business Development Manager to develop sales targets, objectives and strategies relating to key accounts.
Working with the Area Manager to identify and develop aftermarket opportunities relating to key accounts.
Working closely with the Service team to ensure customers will receive above and beyond service effectively addressing problem areas and customer concerns.
Work closely with the Aftermarket team to ensure timely receipt and delivery of parts.
Oversee all aspects of account management activity.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of the accounts and strong attention to their needs.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of all outstanding sales prospects, status of these prospects, and a forecast of sales activity.
Develop relationships and credibility with individuals at all levels of the customer's organization to ensure products, services and solutions presented best meet the customer's needs.
Help process the aftermarket parts and service quoting and sales process.
Provide Product managers with customer feedback for product development.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, specifically key decision makers.
Prepare professional tenders/quotations and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Incumbent must be able/willing to travel to customer sites and conduct work in an underground environment.
Help with Parts Support and Delivery in the Elko area About You:
The successful candidate(s) must be able to lead a team, willing to learn, open-minded and flexible, organized and detail oriented, team oriented, disciplined, and must have a positive attitude, along with any one of the following
Qualifications:
Education The ideal candidate possesses a technical degree or diploma in a mining related field.
Additional general business or marketing education is an asset Experience Must have an ability to build relationships and credibility at different customer levels.
Must have a proven history of developing new sales opportunities.
Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written as well as a professional and a polished presence.
Must have competent computer skills (eg.
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook) Must be a strong team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction.
Preference will be given to individuals with heavy equipment experience.
