Joy Global Inc. offers excellent benefits, a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry. We are currently looking to add an Account Manager, West US to our Hard Rock Mining Division to be based Billings, MT or Elko, NV.
Responsibilities:
Develops sales opportunities for Joy Global Underground Hard Rock product lines within the defined territory or with assigned accounts.
Assesses customers total potential with Joy products. Performs opportunity analysis by customer and site.
Acts as key contact for customer accounts and builds long-term relationships.
Provides input to Product Managers to address product offering opportunities.
Develops a sales plan for designated accounts and is responsible to achieve budgeted sales revenue and margins.
Maintains accurate customer records using sales force system.
Ensures Customer is in compliance with Joy Global terms and conditions of sale.
Liaises between Customers and Joy to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Provides the Company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the Customers base.
Stays current with industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers.
May be required to participate in technical studies, demonstrations or field tests.
Travel up to 60% in the Western US.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business or Technical (Engineering/Traders) degree (or two year college diploma) plus seven years proven sales experience of heavy equipment
Strong customer service focus
Knowledge of the mining industry
Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and high energy
Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
Highly developed time management and organizational skills
Computer Literacy including MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
