Elko ESCO Corporation is a global manufacturer of engineered metal wearparts and components for industrial applications. For nearly a century, our privately held company has been headquartered in Portland, Oregon and currently has more than 3,500 employees worldwide.
We currently have an opening for Welders in our Elko, NV facility. Welder qualifications are required and a bend test will be administered. A Welder is responsible for using the correct weld for the metal alloy being welded. They are also responsible for the quality of the weld they apply. Welders must be agile and able to work in awkward positions. Extensive use of back, shoulders, arms, and wrists is essential. Prolonged reaching and bending are often required. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with proven experience as a team leader desired.
Job Requirements :
Must have 2 Years of experience welding
Knowledge of metal properties
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, work from sketches and drawings with accuracy
Read and understand manuals and spec
Flexibility to work overtime as business needs dictate
Flexibility to work any shift required as business needs dictate
Ability to lift 50 lbs
MSHA certification (ESCO will provide) may be required
Field Machining experience preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record. CDL preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
