MISSION STATEMENT
To facilitate growth of our company's Aftermarket business through strong commitment to the delivery of high quality customer service to all Atlas Copco customers.
GENERAL FUNCTION & KEY OBJECTIVES:
Responsible for providing field labor technical service and product support to Atlas Copco's local customer base. This service/support will require professional communication, technical skill, and the ability to provide maintenance & operator training in the field and by use of the Atlas Copco drill simulator.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement activities to improve the customer acceptance and understanding of our underground products, demonstrate performance, and increase reliability through technical & operator audits and training.
2. Assist in the introduction of the latest product developments and technology.
3. Perform technical and operator training on specific products for internal and external needs alike.
4. Perform general maintenance and repairs to URE equipment for the Elko store as directed by Service management
5. Develop and promote the Atlas Copco technical service and training
6. Implement procedures to ensure that all Technical Service and Training activities are performed in an organized and structured manner.
7. Utilize all resources as required to achieve targeted goals and objectives.
8. Ensure competence development on product, technical and administrative training issues.
9. Assist with warranty issues with the customers and Product Companies.
10. Provide key performance indicators to measure training results.
11. Manage, coach, train and lead employees in a fashion that is consistent with our company's culture and management philosophy.
12. Organize, document and maintain procedures for all technical support, technical & operator training functions.
13. Work jointly with the respective Atlas Copco CMT USA Technicians and Technical Managers, and when required the PC for all technical, performance and product related issues.
14. Provide appropriate and accurate documentation and reporting of all activities.
15. Be very involved in vehicle startups and associated training.
16. Be very involved in new related products being released to the US market as well as any PC driven product improvement campaigns or product tests.
17. Work responsibly with the safety of self and others a constant focus.
18. Assist internal and external customers with troubleshooting diagnosis, customer requests and physical maintenance tasks as required.
19. Identify service and marketing opportunities and communicate them appropriately
20. Work to and promote best practices, and incorporate common routines and efficiencies from other CMT divisions where appropriate.
COMMUNICATION
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate Technical Service and Training activities and work together to grow our business.
2. Prepare necessary information as requested whether routine or for special occasions.
3. Communicate Work in Progress and Financial Report information.
4. Always be courteous and professional in all communications.
TRAINING & SKILL DEVELOPMENT:
1. Participate in company planned training whenever possible.
2. Seek out training for areas of perceived weakness.
3. Maintain an open mind when working with co-workers or supervisors to learn new approaches.
4. Utilize and practice Mercuri principles in daily activities.
5. Work to understand and utilize information and communication systems and tools, i.e.
e-mail, BPCS, Microsoft Office software, etc.

Skills:
1. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email software; word processing software; spreadsheet software; Accounting software and Contact Management systems.
Education/
Experience:
1. 3- 5 Years minimum experience operating Atlas Copco Drills and related drilling equipment
2. Bachelor of Science degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
3. Direct customer interaction experience in a training environment.
Certificates/Licenses:
1. 40 Hour MSHA Certification
2. Valid Driver's license required
Travel:
This position will require, including weekends as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
